We are delighted to announce that Tenet has been nominated for the ‘Event Innovation Award’ at the 2021 Investment Marketing & Innovation Awards. The event that secured our nomination was The Adviser Forum: Tenet’s end-of-year annual adviser conference. This is the biggest and most anticipated event in our programme.

Helen HutchinsonEvent Manager at Tenet, said: “The events programme moved online in April 2020 with great success, however for this event we knew we had to offer something spectacular and emulate the ‘real’ event as closely as possible.”

Hosted virtually over five days, the forum incorporated:

  • ‘Pick-your-own’ CPD breakout sessions from provider partners
  • Virtual trade fair with over 20 stands
  • Panel discussions from leading tech partners
  • Updates from Tenet directors
  • Keynote speakers
  • Firm & adviser awards

All registered advisers were gifted a goodie box before the event; containing everything they’d need to enjoy the week and ensuring they still got the usual merchandise they would normally collect at the trade fair. Sealed with a white and gold Tenet ribbon, these boxes contained eco-friendly products, stationary, confectionary, event brochure and prosecco to enjoy while toasting the award winners.

The online event also enabled people to attend who otherwise might not be able to, including paraplanners, administrators, office staff and advisers.

Attendees were asked to use an app to rate and give feedback on the value and delivery of each session. The feedback we received was fantastic, with scores exceeding our targets for both online and face-to-face events. The only criticism was that attendees wished they had been able to meet us in person.

John DixonJD Financial Management, said: “I enjoyed all aspects, from the presentations and statistics regarding the effects the pandemic has had on all of us. It was extremely well organised and all the presenters, support staff and organisers deserve a huge thank you.”

Helen Hutchinson added, “Running events in a post-COIVD world has certainly had its challenges and we are thrilled that our efforts have been recognised.”
