The story started in the 1980s, but it was in 1992 when things really started to take shape when the M&E Network was launched. Designed with the needs of financial advisers in mind, M&E Network connected advisers and provided expert support and tailored services at a time when they needed it the most due to new regulation enforcing them to choose whether to be tied or independent.
The Group continued to be successful and, in 1999, it acquired Interdependence Ltd (a company with a similar offering to M&E) and launched the Tenet Group. Since then, Tenet has continued to grow, acquire other businesses and build more services, all designed to provide an even better service to advisers - whatever their status or needs. From compliance and training, to product research and business development support - all within an ever-changing and highly-regulated financial services market.
As the business grew, Tenet retained its independence, rejecting the chance to float on the stock market, in order that it could continue to focus on providing a first class service to advisers. It’s also financially robust, with major financial backing from Aviva, Standard Life Aberdeen and Aegon.

At Tenet we provide an extensive range of events, which are designed to help financial advisers keep abreast of the latest market developments and receive all the CPD needed to achieve the annual Statement of Professional Standing.
In April of this year we introduced our online events programme online, enabling us to continue supporting adviser development through these online events offering the same CPD that you would expect to receive at our live events.
