Are you getting financial advice from a Tenet appointed representative?

As a customer of your financial or mortgage adviser you are likely to have seen our name on your adviser's website or in documentation provided by them during the course of your service delivery.

You're probably wondering who Tenet is and what that relationship means for you?

If so, read on...

What is an appointed representative?

An appointed representative is not directly authorised by the UK financial services regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Instead they run regulated activities and act as an agent for a firm that is directly authorised, called the principal.

Tenet is the principal for our appointed representatives in our network. We take full responsibility for ensuring that all our appointed representatives comply with FCA rules and provide you with good quality advice.

For more information on appointed representatives and principals, visit the FCA's website on the link below.

Who is Tenet?

With over a quarter of a century’s worth of experience, our approach is focused on ensuring clients like you get the financial advice they need. We do this through a nationwide network of hundreds of highly qualified and trained financial advisers and mortgage brokers who are authorised to act as our appointed representatives to give quality financial advice.

Through the Tenet network, all of our advisers receive ongoing training and guidance from us to ensure the advice they give is both fair and suitable for our clients’ needs, taking account of market developments, product launches, and the requirements of our regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority.

We have £30m net assets, and our major shareholders are well known high street names - Avivaabrdn and Aegon. Plus, we have a team of over 260 people that are mainly based at our Head Office in Leeds, supporting our advisers.

So, if you are looking for quality financial advice, all of this should give you peace of mind that your financial plan is in safe hands for a secure financial future.
